Watercolour

Hello. Did you had a great weekend? I got my studio all cleaned, filed six month's worth of paid bills, receipts, and other mail, and even had time to create some cards. Went shopping, and my darling Donnie bought me the Cricut Designer Studio, so now I can use my computer to manipulate and create new images with my Cricut. He also bought me some new rubbah! I am going to do my best to ink up my rubber this week; I have such a habit of buying stamps and leaving them sitting unused for weeks, and even months. Do you have that same problem? I'd love to hear from you.

Image was water coloured with Lyra watercolour pencil crayons.

Stamp: Penny Black; Paper: Cool Caribbean, Taken With Teal, Real Red; Brads: source unknown

Thank you for stopping by.

Beth

Yes, *guilty* here of having new stamps and not using them although now I have sorted my stamps out I am keeping the new ones separate so I know what I have.

I totally have the same problem. I keep trying to force myself to use my new stuff as soon as I get it but it never seems to happen. Love the new stamp. Can't wait to see what you do with the new cricut software. HUGS - kimmy

Ooh, Beth! Your card is gorgeous! I love the watercoloring and that stamped image is beautiful!

Oh, I have the same problem. . .I'll buy stamps and I don't even know I bought it. I've on occasion have bought stamp sets that I already had. Okay. . .now that's bad.

I actually did that today and bought two stamp sets that I had already bought just last week. When I got home and looked through my organizer to double check because they did look a bit familiar and lo and behold, there they were! I guess I'll be returning those stamp sets tomorrow!!

Your card is beautiful. I love how you water colored what looks to be a fairly simple stamp. It is fabulous. As for sitting stamps-- I have a whole box full. You can tell my mood by how frequent the mailman knocks on the door. Right now I have a box of very cool stuff that needs to be put away or inked!
