There's a Mouse in the House

There's a mouse in the house. Now if that isn't a catchy phrase. Thankfully these mice are loved by stampers.

If you look closely you will notice that these two cards use the same In-Colours, Groovy Guava, Blue Bayou, and Wild Wasabi. There are two brads on each card, albeit a different kind, and Riviting's "Wishing you the best." Ladybug ribbon purchased at my local scrapbook store, Lasting Impressions, matches so nice with these cute mice. Watercolour pencil crayons were used on these images.

I don't know about you, but I never make one card at a time. I make 2, 3, 4, 5, and even 10 cards at a time. Why? How else would I know what card would be the best one to post? I might not choose the right colour, the right embellishment, the right layout. Do you do the same? Let me know; I'd love to hear from you.

Look what my friend, Marja, sent me for my birthday. Marja is such a creative paper craft artist from Nederland. I strongly encourage you to check out her blog. Her commentary is not in English, but as they say, "a picture is worth a thousand words." Marja just celebrated her birthday too, so you might want to say happy birthday.

The House Mouse cards are adorable! Love the colors! When I have to make more than one of the same card-like for a swap... I always change it up a bit on each card....something about a copy of the card drives me crazy!

That ladybug ribbon is soooo adorable. I love both of the cards, too. Yes, I always make my cards in multiples. I usually work on 2-4 cards at one time in similar themes, colors, etc. I have no idea why. I abhor making exact multiples of the same card...seems like work.

Fabulous cards Beth. I love House Mouse stamps! They are definitely the cutest. You can't go wrong with them. Great use of the SU "In Colors".

To answer your question. . . I don't work on more than one card at a time. Every card I post on my blog site are basically every card I make. If a card is not working out, I'll fix it rather than make another card.

Thank you for participating in this week's challenge. Your autumn card for your friend is absolutely beautiful. I love the background that you used. The colors are great!

I'll be posting you card/tag on Stampin Inspirations!

Adorable House Mouse cards!! (I love HM stamps) whenever I go to the states I pick up a few...or my daughter does.

I always make only 1 card..but I wish I made more.....and you know for the length of time I spend trying different papers ect...I could probably make another 1 for sure.

I adore your colouring on these! So pretty. And no, I only ever make one card at a time although I have lots of half-made ones and 'experiments' laying around!
